8’ W x 8” H x 0.5 D on Canvas / Acrylic and Ink / Wired and Ready to Hang Unframed
“Sometimes you don’t realize how far you’ve come until you’re ready to leave something behind.”
When I painted Whispers of Flight, I was drawn to the butterfly just beginning to lift away from the flowers. I wanted to capture that brief moment between staying where you are and discovering what might be waiting somewhere new.
The loose flowers, washes and unfinished marks were intentional. Everything around the butterfly feels as though it’s still unfolding, because change rarely happens all at once.
There’s excitement in moving forward, but there can be uncertainty too. You don’t have to feel completely ready before you spread your wings.
