Blooming After the Storm | Crimson Wildflower Painting

$180.00

12” W x 12” H x 0.5 D on Canvas / Acrylic and Inks / Wired and Ready to Hang Unframed

“Some things become even more beautiful because of what they’ve made it through.”

When I painted Blooming After the Storm, I wanted the flowers to feel as though they were pushing their way out of something darker. I surrounded the deep crimson blooms with pale, almost weathered layers, allowing some areas to fade away while others came forward with much more intensity.

The flowers aren’t perfect, and that’s part of why I love them. They’re still standing, still opening, and still bringing color into everything around them.

There are seasons that leave their marks on us. But they don’t get to decide what grows afterward.
