20" W × 16" H × 0.5" D on Canvas / Mixed Media | Wired and Ready to Hang Unframed
"Strength does not always roar, it sometimes simply holds steady."
When I painted The Quiet Strength We All Carry, I was drawn to the way a tiger can move with such confidence and purpose. There’s tremendous power there, but it doesn’t need to be announced. The tiger simply knows what it is.
I surrounded it with turquoise, warm gold and loose botanical marks to create a contrast between the animal’s commanding presence and the life growing around it. I wanted the tiger to feel as though it were moving directly toward you, steady and completely sure of itself.
That’s the kind of strength I admire most the kind you carry with you without having to prove it to anyone.
